3. Backup all the important data of device like contacts, pictures, videos, messages etc because you may lose them if something went wrong during or after the process.
4. Charge your phone to maximum to avoid power issue.
5. Your PC should have Samsung USB Drivers.
6. The USB Data Cable of your device should be working properly.
7. Disable Samsung Kies and Antivirus on your PC because it can interrupt the flashing process.
8. Enable USB Debugging mode on your mobile, for this go to setting >>Developer option, from there enable USB debugging, if not found developer option then go to  Settings>>About device from there tap onBuild Number seven times repeatedly to enable developer options. Now go back and enter into developer options, activate the developer options and enable the USB Debugging mode.
9. If u installed a Custom recovery, after updating it will replace  by  a stock recovery.

Step 1

Download the CF-Auto-Root file package and Extract the firmware to get the tar.md5extension file.

Download Odin v3.09 and extract it too.

Step 2

Now enable USB Debugging mode of your S6 Edge.

Step 3

Now turn off your device and press and hold Home+Power+Volume Down buttons together to get into download mode, and then press the Volume Up button from the warning screen to confirm the task.

• Launch Odin flash tool on your computer
