    • If hard reset not working then you have the software problem. The hard reset is not solution of this, update your Android version, this will resolve your problem

      • How would you update your Android version if it won’t turn on? I’m having the same problem as elias. I’m pretty sure my Android has the latest update too. Right now it keeps looping the LG screen.

  1. I had the same issues. I decided to check online to source for solutions. Some people suggested it was hardware and some said software. I didn’t do hard reset. All I did was to uncouple the phone and applied heat to every part on the panel. At first the phone booted completely and started to restart continuously. I had to apply some more intensive heat. Finally it’s working

  2. Journey, how did you apply heat!? I’ve the same problem. I can’t even reset factory default, as the step screen is still frozen while in reset mode.

  3. Yay! Thanks so much. This worked for me.When the factory hard reset menu appeared I selected “no.” It then went back to LG screen for a few seconds and the home screen finally appeared.

  4. Its a problem in hardware. Simple explanation is this thing over heats easily n ends up wearing out some of the internal connectins to the point that it only works while hot. LG should have really called out a recal because many ppl are getting this problem.

  5. I tried this but didn’t work. cant hard reset it so is there a way I can do it. as once it power up with Power button + Vol-button, leave it for 1 second and hold them again doesn’t bring anything.
    Thanks
