    After the successful launch of Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, the Korean tech giant is gearing up to unroll its new Galaxy Note 8. Recently a video has been posted by a Chinese blogging site Weibo, showing the dummy device with unique features that have been revealed in the leaks. The video shows dummy Note 8 having a vertical dual camera with LED flash beneath it, and an embedded fingerprint scanner. The sleek, bezel-free phone with curved edges and display corner will be a mix of metal and glass.     According to a report by CNbeta, the Note 8 will come with a 4K 6.4 inches Super AMOLED Display. The display will be a double sided curved screen having no physical buttons. The fingerprint scanner will either be embedded in the display or less probably on the back of the device like the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

    The leaked sketch of Galaxy Note 8 shows two circles on the front of the phone at the top which are likely a front camera and an iris scanner.     A Korea Herald report says that Samsung may choose a dual camera setup for upcoming Note 8 featuring wide angle and telephoto lens as used by Apple in iPhone 7 Plus.     Reportedly, the wide angle lens will have 12-megapixels and the telephoto lens will have 13-megapixels and 3x optical zoom. The photos captured with Note 8 will have bokeh effect which means the background and the subject will be distinct having an additional feature of blur background with more emphasis on the subject.

    Interestingly, the Note 8 will have a gigantic RAM of 6GB with 64GB onboard storage that is expandable up to 256GB via SD card. The successor to Note 7 will come with the same processor as the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. Depending on the territories, Note 8 will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895.

According to a report by SamMobile, the successor to Galaxy Note 7 is being called ‘Great’. The model number of the international unlocked device would be SM-N950F with the ending letter subject to change based on the market. The company has begun work on developing firmware for the international variant of Note 8. The build numbers are N950FXXU0AQC6, N950FOXM0AQC6 and N950FXXU0AQC6.

    Given the launch of Galaxy Note 8 later this year, there is no information as of how much the phablet will cost. However, with the Galaxy S8 starting at a price of £680, the Note 8 is expected to fetch more than £700. Samsung has promised that burned Note 7 users in Korea will have the chance to get a half-priced Galaxy S8 and Note 8.
